Apparently

We had the police storm our house today... Yeah wierd, I know!
In the previous post I mentioned we had our heat fixed, well that involved Micah staying home from work and a repair man. Now the house we live in is a couple of years old and the doors have a tendency to stick.... To make a long story short... Our neighbor (who is very nice) noticed that Max was running around our 'shared', for the lack of a better word, back yard. Normally one of us stays outside with Max, she didn't see us out there and thought that was a bit odd but continued on and went to run errands. When she got back she noticed that Max was still outside and decided to investigate. When she came to the front door she noticed that is was opened a few inches, she rang the doorbell, hollered, and tried our cell phones. When we didn't answer she got worried and called the Police. Luckily nothing seemed wrong so they left us a little note on the back of the sheriff's business card. And locked up...
Having not lived in a neighborhood for some time, it's to know there is people (who are not related and or otherwise obligated) watching out for you.
Ok so maybe 'storm' isn't the appropriate descriptive word... but it was strange nonetheless!

what? your front door was open because of the repairman? It was nice they check on you.
Micah's comment still haunts me, "You guys its not that cold in here, it used to be when we walked across the (wooden) floor it hurt" (because it was so cold). Sandy Dodd said that the last several nights it was below 0 outside, glad you had heat upstairs however... it was quite cold even in the heatwave of above 32 degrees outside. You guys are gluttons for punishment.

What a crazy feeling knowing someone else was in your home uninvited!...even though they were on duty.
I am glad nothing was wrong.
