Last weekend Judy (Micah's Mom) and I flew to Los Angeles, Chelsie (Micah's cousin) is one of the dancers on the show 'Dancing with the Stars'. It was kinda short notice, and because of that Micah wasn't able to go :( but he encouraged me to go and so I packed up and was off. We both flew out on Saturday and arrived at Tim and Laura's just in time for dinner (Thanks again Tim and Laura for letting us stay!). Sunday we went to church and and afterwards drove out to Lakewood to visit my Great Grandma Connie
She was so excited to see us! My Great-Grandpa James died about 10 years ago... and she's been alone ever since. She loves to have people visit! I showed her pictures of Clara (my sister Dani's baby) and Aleyna (my cousin Amber's baby) and she was so happy... she also asked me a zillion times "Where your baby Step?"...lol...The taping was on Monday at 4pm; Judy and I were worried about being late so we decided to head there way early and bum around 'the Grove' which is a fancy pants outdoor mall. I found some cute/clearence shirts at Banana and got Micah a souvenir... it's a massive belt buckle in the shape of a lions head... Long story short, Tim and Laura met us at the studio and in we went
We had to go through metal detectors and they took our cameras and cellphones (which we were not expecting)... therefore I have no pictures of the inside :(. The show was a lot of fun! We were sitting right behind Jewel... You can see me twice!

It was such a fun experience! Chelsie is so talented and it's fabulous that she is being recognized! After the show we went to the Cheesecake Factory, Chelsie's favorite, with some of Chelsie's other family (on her Mom's side).
All and all, I wish Micah could have come... but it was a blast none-the-less. Thank you Judy for inviting me, Thank you Tim and Laura at the 'Huntzinger Hotel', Thank you everyone who supports Chelsie!

I was already jealous of you being related to a dancer but now you get to go to the show!?! Man, some people have all the luck!!
I watched it like 100 times trying to see you! I swear I never did! Now I wish I hadn't deleted it so I could go back and look again...You should know how much I love you by the fact that I watched the WHOLE TWO HOURS! You know it is my favorite show! :-)
BTW- I LOVE Jewel and I am so jealous that you got to sit behind her! Where is your picture with her???
